Andrew Duke loves to perform live.
His sets can be dancing-oriented (his takes on house, tech house, techno, electro, breaks,
synth pop, Italo disco, etc)
to listening/head-nodding-oriented (his versions of ambient, dub, downtempo, funk, grime, idm, phonography, microsound,
glitch, noise, experimental, etc) or a combination
of both. He never does the same live set twice (even if he performs live twice in one night or does a long
tour), preferring to make each live PA unique. In his live performances Andrew prefers to showcase new material and remixes
he's working on, as opposed to sitting back, pressing "play", and pretending to play live while pre-recorded
songs play. Andrew wants your live experience to be special, not a "cover version" of songs you could
have heard listening to a CD at home. Andrew does not do DJ sets, he does only live performances. Check the "listen" section for various live sets.
Andrew Duke also loves to share knowledge and tutor on music software use/capabilities.
He is currently available to demonstrate/workshop/tutor a variety of music software programs, but his specialties are
Ableton Live, Propellerhead Reason, Native Instruments Traktor and Reaktor, and Audacity.
